What 44-year old woman decides to walk more than a half marathon a day for five weeks with her 80-year old father as a wingman?  Rotarian Andra Watkins, that's who!  Undaunted, this aspiring author set out to walk the 444-mile Natchez Trace--a 10,000 year old road  that runs from Natchez, Mississippi to Nashville, Tennessee without really thinking what that would mean.  Her original intent (to publicize her newly penned paranormal adventure novel) transformed as she trudged America's forgotten highway in pain and despair.  Humorous anecdotes about her dysfunctional family adventure underlie a more important message:  Don't wait too long to build a memory with your parents.  In her words, she turned "I wish I had" into "I'm glad I did."
