The Friends of the Domes board recently named Christa Beall Diefenbach as its next executive director.  Most recently Beall Diefenbach was a strategic consultant with her own marketing firm, Diefenbach Communications Strategies, which focuses on nonprofit clients. Prior to that, Beall Diefenbach served as vice president of mission engagement for the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance in Kansas City, Missouri, where she oversaw strategy and execution of marketing, fundraising and new product development for the national nonprofit capacity-building organization.

Alicia Bernards, of O'Leary-Guth Law Office, S.C., will educate us on what to do first when a loved one dies.

Please join us for a wonderful evening as we celebrate the annual Changing of the Guard at the American Legion in Mequon.  Enjoy a nice dinner, cash bar, and great company.  

The cost for the evening will be similar to last year, with exact cost per head firmed up after we have a final head count.  

Please RSVP as soon as possible.  

Join your fellow Thiensville Mequon Noon Rotarians July 9th for Gathering on the Green's Main Event!  This year they are featuring 38 Special and Night Ranger.  We have reserved our usual tent and will be serving light or'derves.  Tickets are 75.00 each and can be purchased from Dianne or Shelley.  Checks should be made payable to Thiensville Mequon Rotary Foundation.  Gates for the GOG event open at 4:30pm and the concert starts at 8pm. 

This year we are changing it up with BYOB (Bring your own Beer/Beverage)  The Fundrasing committee will collect your drink of choice at the Changing of the Guard.  We then will bring it to the GOG tent for you to enjoy.  There is no meeting on July 5th so if you can't have it at the Changing of the Guard, deliver it to Heather at PWSB in Thiensville before the 9th to ensure your beverage will be on hand.

Please join us for a night of baseball at Kapco Park on Thursday, August 4. The Chinooks are playing the Wausau Woodchucks. Each ticket gets you a meal, 2 drink tickets - and a lot of fun! Tickets are $50 each ($57 if you would like to make a donation to Mel's Charities as it is Mel's Charities Night at the Park). Please bring your check or cash to a Rotary meeting by July 19. Checks can be made payable to T-M Rotary.

Please save the date for the 10th Anniversary of our Annual Fall Into Comedy Night - Thursday, October 13, 2022, at the River Club of Mequon!  We are very excited to have nationally renowned comedian Juston McKinney join us for our 10th Anniversary!  Coming from New Hampshire, Juston's featured appearances include multiple appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Tonight Show with Conan O'Brian, his own Comedy Central specials, and the TV hit show The King of Queens.  Juston's hilarious stand-up comedy at various New York legendary comedy venues led the New York Times to call him "Destined for stardom".  He has also appeared in several movies and consistently sells out theaters across the country. We are encouraging everyone to get their tickets early before they sell out and are also encouraging our loyal and supportive business community to make plans to support this worthwhile community event with your sponsorship.
