This Month's Stories
Changing of the Guard

It's time for the 2026 Changing of the Guard. Tomorrow, June 30, we will gather at Foxtown Station, at 5pm to thank the current TM Rotary Board and welcome the Board to be led by Angelica Niemann. It's a celebration of connection, community, and the cameraderie that makes Rotary strong. We’ve curated a special evening to recognize the exceptional achievements of the past year and kick off a dynamic new chapter for TM Rotary.
Family Fun Before the Fourth
The TM Rotary Club once again stepped up to serve the community. Saturday, June 27, we served sweet corn! It was a beautiful and busy day. The plan was to serve the hot buttered corn until 7pm, but we only made it to 6:10pm. We had dissappointed customers after that. Fortunately, the always creative Jenne Hohn found some leftover ice cream that was not given away in the morning, so we were able to assauge the disappointment of our latecomers with free ice cream.
Order in the Court: Life Behind the Bench
At last week's meeting, we were honored to hear from Judge Sandy A. Williams, Circuit Court Judge for Branch 3 in Ozaukee County, a position she has held since 2009, and the first woman to do so. Before her election to the bench, she had a long and distinguished career as Ozaukee County’s first female District Attorney, serving for more than two decades and beginning her legal career in the county prosecutor’s office soon after law school. Over her career, Judge Williams has been deeply committed to public service and community justice, bringing extensive courtroom experience and thoughtful leadership to her role on the bench.

Pictured here are Ozaukee County Sheriff Christy Knowles (also the first woman ever to hold that position), Judge Williams, outgoing TM Rotary President Jim Counsellor, and incoming President Angelica Niemann.
Chefs prepare for summer meetings
As of Tuesday, July 7, our TM Rotary Club meetings will move to lovely Rotary Park, 4100 Highland Road, in Mequon. Take the west entrance to the Rotary Pavilion. Yes, the City of Mequon enjoys these lovely resources because of the generosity and work of our Rotary Club. And soon we will add the All-User Playground to the many amenities of this park. But I digress.
