Unity in Hope

My grandmother had an 8th grade education. I have a law degree, and teach college. There’s nothing I believe more deeply than education as an equalizer and singularly successful vehicle for opportunity and hard work. That’s why I joined the advisory board for Unity in Hope.  Unity in Hope is a school in Pakistan offering education to children living in a Christian slum that otherwise have almost zero opportunity. It’s been so wildly, beyond our expectations well-received that for the 20 spots in this year’s kindergarten class—we had 127 applications. All of our donations go directly to the school: salaries for teachers (that provide economic support for the wider community), meals and academic instruction for kids in grades K-2. We are just getting started and working on expansion...
