Barb O'Connell has provided the latest update regarding the GMRP Project.

Incredibly, a gynecology team of surgeons came to Obras Hospital and there wasn't a full schedule of patients lined up for them.

Of course, Flory knew of some women needing help, so she talked to the hospital leaders and said she could get them the patients they needed, but that our organization was short on funds because we are also saving for a mission next January.

They reduced the surgical fee from $200 to $130, a significant savings.

These women are all so very grateful and send you their blessings. They are hopeful that they can get back to work and live and support the families that depend on them.

Here's hoping all of you former GMRP team members can continue to support this effort with your donations when you are able. Remember, any amount helps. Small gifts add up to cover someone's tests or surgery. Your free will gifts have carried on the work of this mission since 2005.

It is really quite an incredible effort, with so many people's lives being improved as a result. Health brings hope to patients and their families as well.

I love how Flory's family opens their home to help patients facing surgery the next day. She has raised her children well.
