Our Tuesday March 19 meeting has been moved to Monday, March 18 and will be held at Homestead High School for the National Honors Society Induction Ceremony. More information will follow.  
 
Everyone's favorite event Roadside Cleanup will take place at 9AM on Saturday April 13. We will meet at Kwik Trip on the corner of Green Bay and Donges Bay Roads. By moving this event to the second week in April, we hope to have a beautiful April morning, but are fully prepared for the chances of a January snowstorm. 
 
Chinooks Game has been scheduled for Wednesday, July 31 at 7PM. We hope to have a beautiful July evening, but are fully prepared for a January snowstorm. More information regarding this outing will be made available as the date draws nearer. 
 
2. Mid-Year awards ceremony to take place celebrating Thiensville-Mequon Rotary Club's achievements for the first half of the 2018-2019 year, on January 21, 2019.  The award ceremony will take place in the following paragraphs:
 
The Best New Fan Club Award goes to the Tony Von Reuden Fan Club. This fan club has taken the club by storm with a record breaking 1, or maybe 2 members. "T-M Rotary Club has never seen a fan club like it" said Samuel Azinger, president and possibly only member. Anyone is welcome to join. The joining fee is $20-$100 by check made out to The Rotary Foundation. All joining fees will be applied towards your Rotary Foundation contribution, and will move you closer to a Paul Harris Award. 
 
The Best Looking Rotarian Award is undetermined at this point in the year. In order to qualify for this coveted award, please write a check to The Rotary Foundation for $20-$100, which will be applied to your Rotary Foundation contribution, and move you closer to a Paul Harris Award. Unlimited entries are available, and entries in excess of $100 will result in additional "Good Looks" points. 
 
Rotary Foundation Most Frequent Contributor Award goes to Pam Koch who contributed to The Rotary Foundation in July of 2018 and again in January of 2019. To qualify for this award please write a check to The Rotary Foundation for $20-$100, which will be applied to your Rotary Foundation contribution, and move you closer to a Paul Harris Award. To overtake Pam Koch before the end of the 2018-2019 year, repeat the steps three times.
 
The most likely to succeed award goes to the first person to make a contribution to the Rotary Foundation following the publication of this bulletin.
 
Any reference to "writing a check to The Rotary Foundation" shall include any includes all other forms of contribution to Rotary International or Polio Plus, including online contributions or auto withdrawals. Checks made out to The Rotary Foundation can be given to Samuel Azinger who will gladly complete the required paperwork and submit the checks on your behalf.
 
3. Thank you to our Meeting Responsibility assignees on Tuesday. All 3 fulfilled their responsibilities, which unfortunately seems to be a rare occurrence. Sandy Custer- Greeter, Dianne Robertson - Pledge, and Roger Kirgues - Inspiration.  Nice work!
