Rotary has long been a part of our lives. When we owned a full-service advertising agency in Manitowoc, my husband Patrick was a member of the Manitowoc Noon Rotary and a Paul Harris Fellow. I was a guest speaker at both his club and the Rotary Club of Manitowoc -- Sunrise discussing such topics as Library Services and Judaism. As a Rotary wife I attended at least one District Conference. I also enjoy doing the crossword puzzle in the Rotary magazine.

When it was announced that I was hired as the new director of the Frank L. Weyenberg Library of Mequon-Thiensville, Karl Hertz reached out to tell me about Rotary, even before I started my new job. I am so pleased to be a Rotarian in my own right. It is rare that an organization is able to do good works both at home and throughout the world. It is an honor to be a part of an organization that values truth, fairness, goodwill, and friendship.
