But what does this mean? 

 

Heather Mader, our Club Service Chair, focuses on all the activities necessary to make the Thiensville Mequon Rotary Club function successfully. 

 

Barbara Thompson is the Vocational Chair. While in the early days of Rotary Vocational Service was an opportunity for each Rotarian to represent the dignity and utility of their vocation to the other members of the club, our Vocational Services Committee has traditionally focused on education, often partnering with Homestead High School.  That said, expect new things with Barbara at the helm.

 

Rob Kos, our Community Service Chair, focuses on the activities which Rotarians undertake to improve the quality of life in their community. Next up, July 26, is Kids Fest, where Rotarians will serve root beer floats. All tips will be donated to Rotary's Polio Plus, an initiative very close to wiping out polio world-wide.

 

Finally, Ellen McFarlane chairs our club's International Service activities which Rotarians undertake to advance international understanding, goodwill and peace. These projects are designed to meet humanitarian needs of people around the globe.
