Any interesting speaker with insights into Milwaukee's 'Hood'.

In Shelly's words:

Tom Jenz has been a friend of my fathers since the 70’s when my Parents moved to West Bend.  Tom was an area manager at Jostens American Yearbook Company’s startup endeavor, Jostens Publications.  In the early 70’s Tom and my father both moved in different directions but always kept in contact because of their love of photography and met up almost yearly on summer photographic forays including rodeos in Montana, the urban life of Minneapolis and rural life in the central states.  The later adventures became the substance of “Forgotten American, Images and Thoughts by Tom Jenz” a book Tom wrote and produced about the vanishing of rural America.  Tom Jenz is a native of Wisconsin but he spent most of his career in Minneapolis and Los Angeles as a writer and producer of corporate films, documentaries, and TV cable network programs.

For the last seven years, Tom has been writing about and photographing Milwaukee's inner city urban scene and troubled Black neighborhoods. His CENTRAL CITY STORIES appear weekly in the Shepherd Express.

His other book is called "Tom Jenz America".
