At last week's meeting, we were honored to hear from Judge Sandy A. Williams, Circuit Court Judge for Branch 3 in Ozaukee County, a position she has held since 2009, and the first woman to do so. Before her election to the bench, she had a long and distinguished career as Ozaukee County’s first female District Attorney, serving for more than two decades and beginning her legal career in the county prosecutor’s office soon after law school. Over her career, Judge Williams has been deeply committed to public service and community justice, bringing extensive courtroom experience and thoughtful leadership to her role on the bench.
Pictured here are Ozaukee County Sheriff Christy Knowles (also the first woman ever to hold that position), Judge Williams, outgoing TM Rotary President Jim Counsellor, and incoming President Angelica Niemann.
